Personal
Jennifer has worked in the healthcare industry her whole life. Her father was a dentist in Hamilton for thirty-five years. Jennifer grew up working in the office doing various jobs. Eventually she became a Dental Hygienist and worked alongside her father. Jennifer taught Dental Hygiene at the Canadian Institute for Dental Hygiene for a number of years, both clinical and classroom.

A car accident in 2002 changed Jennifer's career direction. No longer able to practice dental hygiene, she researched careers that provided many of the same criteria she loved so much about practicing hygiene; Chiropody seemed a perfect alternative. Jennifer's brother Colin, who was also looking to go back to school at the time, enrolled with her at the Michener Institute. They both graduated in June 2007. Since that time Colin’s wife Lisa, has also completed the Chiropody program and they have a joint practice in Hamilton, Ontario. It really is a family affair!

Jennifer is married to John a carpenter/contractor in Kincardine. They have three young children, Isabella, Peter and William. They also have a dog named Shamus. Their small amount of spare time is spent enjoying family and friends.
